Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes of you paper can you scan?
FileVault can image business cards to architecture drawings.

How do I receive the images after completion of the project?
FileVault will return the images to you on a CD or host them in a repository that is accessible via the web- whichever you prefer.

Do I need to prepare the documents before sending them to FileVault (remove paper clips, and staples, etc)?
FileVault can handle documents with or without preparation in advance. To keep costs lower, we advise clients to prepare the documents for imaging before sending them to FileVault. However, FileVault is glad to prepare the documents for you if necessary.

Will I have access to my documents during the scanning process?
Yes. FileVault can retrieve any document for you at anytime during the process.

Can you store the documents after imaging?
We can store the documents for you in our commercial archive for ideal storage of your records.

Can you scan documents on-site or do they have to be removed to FileVaults facilities?
FileVault can bring its machines and personel to stay on-site at your facilities if your company requires the documents from your office.

Can we really have a paperless office?
